What it means to be a FAST AND FEMALE AMBASSADOR

Olympians, Paralympians, elite athletes, and sport experts volunteer your time at a Fast and Female event in your community. Share stories of your athletic journey, lead our MIND, BODY, HEART programs to a small group of 9-12 year old girls (ratio 1 Ambassador to 8 girls), and above all have fun with the girls. Your #1 goal is to inspire the next generation of female athletes by sharing your love of sports.

Time Commitment:

• Event Prep (2-4 hours) – conference call to review the event logistics including: designing your fitness station, learning Fast and Female’s mission/vision/programming, discussing effective icebreaker games for your small group, etc.

• Event Day (6 hours) – on the day of event (1-hour setup + 4-hour event + 1-hour teardown)

• Post Event – Share your feedback about the event, fill out our Post Event Survey.

Event Swag! Receive a Fast and Female L.L.Bean t-shirt and Buff at the event.

What it means to be a FAST AND FEMALE VOLUNTEER

Volunteer your time at a Fast and Female event in your community. Assist with event setup, check-in/registration, handout event giveaways, participant supervision, distribute lunch/snacks, help with fitness/craft stations, assist with event teardown, etc.

• Event Day (6 hours) – on the day of event (1-hour setup + 4-hour event + 1-hour teardown)

Join us for a day of empowerment through sports at the Fast and Female Champ Chat powered by Jumpstart.

Champ Chat Goals:

1. Socialize in a non-competitive environment.

2. Be inspired by female role models.

3. Experience and encourage varied physical literacy.

4. Have fun! Celebrate girls and women in sport.

5. Keep girls healthy, happy, and active in sports.
